Propelled by the need to sustain excellence in the university system, the University of Lagos has taken a bold step in that direction by offering automatic employment to 125 graduating students who bagged first class degrees from different programmes offered by the institution.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rahamon Ade Bello, who made this known during the second phase of the schools’ 2013/2014 convocation ceremony that took place yesterday, said the governing council, in its support for excellence in the university, approved that two best graduating students with CGPA not less than 4.00 in each programmes be automatically employed as graduate assistants.
