Mrs. Alice, a mother of five,told Newsline, she vowed to Trek if Buhari won the presidential elections..She said her decision was fueled after her husband, Abdulwasiu informed her that he had a dream that President Goodluck Jonathan was going to lose the presidential election to Gen.Buhari.

''Robbers gave me N200 for pure water'' - Man who trekked from Lagos to Abuja

The man who made history by trekking from Lagos to Abuja to celebrate Buhari's win has narrated his ordeal ..Speaking to newsmen upon his arrival in Abuja, Sulieman Hashimu said he had gone to get a police report at Ibadan to allow for an unimpeded journey, but that as he could not wait for the processes to be completed, the divisional police officer (DPO) gave him his phone number.



According to Daily Post ,the journey man said when he first embarked on the journey, many persons discouraged him, especially family members but he never gave up.

Four die celebrating Buhari's victory in Abuja

Four persons were killed on Tuesday night during the celebration of the victory of the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, retd in Lugbe, along the Umaru YarAdua Way, Abuja.

 
Soon after the declaration of Buhari as winner of the March 28 Presidential election, Abuja and its suburbs were thrown into wild jubilation with persons majorly the youths chanting songs of Sai Buhari holding brooms and sticks.

A campaign billboard of the Peoples Democratic Party bearing the photograph of President Goodluck Jonathan was set ablaze in the early hours of Saturday by an unidentified man.



The incident was said to have taken place following earlier rumours that the Independent National Electoral Commission had postponed the February 14, 2015 Presidential election.

{SAD STORY} Sudan Ambassador To Nigeria Dies In Abuja Office Today

The Sudanese ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Tagelsir Ali, has died. The Media Advisor to the Sudanese embassy in Nigeria, Mr Mohammed Abdulrahman, who confirmed his death told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, that Dr Ali died in the early hours of today October 24th at the National Hospital, Abuja where he was being treated from malaria.

    “He had malaria. There were some complications and he passed away around 1 a.m. early this morning. There is a Presidential jet coming by 5 p.m. to take the remains to Sudan for burial. He was 66 years old. He loved working in Nigeria and had zeal to develop the bilateral relationship between Sudan and Nigeria and was able to stretch himself very well,” Abdulrahman said. Prostitutes in the city of Abuja have been given a 48-hour ultimatum to vacate the city or face the full wrath of the law while men and women who patronise them will be punished with a death sentence.

{EBOLA} Suspected Ebola Virus Victim Died In Asokoro, Abuja Today

A patient suspected to have been infected with the deadly Ebola virus has died at the Asokoro Hospital Abuja.



The suspected patient, who exhibited symptoms similar to those of persons infected with the virus died at the hospital last Friday. Following the death of the patient, the Accident and Emergency Unit of the hospital where the patient was being treated has been cordoned off and the accident and emergency unit has been temporarily relocated to the General outpatient unit (GOPD).

AGAIN: Another Bomb Attack Foiled by Police in Kubwa, Abuja

One of the most populated satellite towns in Abuja this afternoon foiled a bomb attack by suspected Boko Haram sects. The bomb loaded in some cooking gas cylinders and being conveyed by a vehicle was intercepted around Channel 8 junction, near a mosque.
