Eden Hazard Wins PFA Player of the Year award

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard has been named the PFA Player of the Year. Hazard, 24 and last season’s Young Player of the Year, has scored 18 goals in 47 games for the Blues this season, inspiring the current league leaders to the brink of a first Premier League title since 2010.



Having impressed at the World Cup with Belgium, Hazard started the season strongly and then scored four vital goals in a bullish run of form through December.

Eden Hazard signs another 5years Chelsea contract, commits until 2020

Eden Hazard has signed a new contract that ties him to Chelsea until 2020. Jose Mourinho had said last week that he expected Hazard, 24, to commit to the club and the Belgium international has now put pen to paper a five-and-a-half-year deal.



"I am very happy to sign a new contract with Chelsea," Hazard, who has scored 13 goals in 36 appearances this season, told his club's official website. "Since I came here in 2012 I have always felt good and the club has been very supportive to me.
