{Photo} Ritual Killer's Den Discovered In Lagos After Girl Escaped With Slashed Throat

Residents of Big Daddy Street in the Atinplome, Bagadry area of Lagos State on Tuesday stormed an uncompleted building in the area, which they suspected to be a ritual killer’s den, after a female victim raised the alarm.



PUNCH Metro learnt that at about 12am, while a carnival went on in the area, a woman in her late 20s, whose name had yet to be known, had run into the party with her throat partly cut, while blood was streaming out of her body.

{Photo} Mother Of 2 & Plank Seller Both Electrocuted Almost At The Same Time In Lagos

Two residents, Bashirat Rauf, a mother of two and Sodiq Saka of Araromi Quarters in Ketu, Lagos State, were both electrocuted when fire engulfed a school nearby.



Bashirat Rauf was said to have rushed out of her apartment when she saw fire burning from a cable in a nearby school. She reportedly decided to quickly pick her children who were playing outside in order to avoid being engulfed by the fire unfortunately, she got electrocuted in the process.
Meanwhile, 33 year old plank seller,Sodiq Saka, was said to have gone to fetch water to put off the fire in the school premises when he saw flame coming out of their compound and he got electrocuted in the process.

These are the house wives who were caught with cocaine stuffed in their private parts at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.



Alaka Deburah Uzoma, 47, was found with 1.180 kilogrammes of cocaine as she inserted 260 grammes of substance in her private part and also ingested 60 wraps weighing 920 grammes.

{Photo} 2 Housewives with cocaine in their private parts arrested at Lagos Airport

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested two housewives for ingesting cocaine, packing some on their underwear and also inserting them in their private parts.



The two women were apprehended at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, while attempting to board a Qatar Airways flight to China.

Lagos cancels movement’s restriction for May sanitation

The Lagos State Government says it has cancelled the restriction of movement during the May edition of the monthly sanitation scheduled for Saturday.

The Commissioner for the Environment, Tunji Bello, said the decision was to allow for a hitch-free inauguration of the incoming Governor of the state, Akinwunmi Ambode, and the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari.

Meet the Man that rides bicycle from Kaduna to Lagos to thank Yorubas for voting Buhari

Lately, you must hearing about so many people trekking from Abuja to Lagos, or Lagos to Abuja. This is another 35-year-old Kaduna-born cyclist and supporter of the president-elect, Mohammed Kabiru Jafaru, yesterday embarked on a journey to meet with the vice president-elect in Lagos State.




Mohammed a father of four took off on his journey to Lagos at exactly 6: 35am at the palace of Sarkin Hayin Malam Bello, Alhaji Kabiru Isa Gangarida,in Kaduna state. Speaking to newsmen before embarking on the journey, Mohammed said,

{GOOD NEWS} Lagos to provide Wi-Fi to all Lagos residents

The Lagos state government  has revealed plans to provide Wi-fi to every resident of the state..

According to Channels, the Permanent Secretary of the State’s ICT Ministry, Mrs Nike Animashaun said the first phase of the Wi-Fi connectivity would be deployed at parks located at different parts of the state.

''Robbers gave me N200 for pure water'' - Man who trekked from Lagos to Abuja

The man who made history by trekking from Lagos to Abuja to celebrate Buhari's win has narrated his ordeal ..Speaking to newsmen upon his arrival in Abuja, Sulieman Hashimu said he had gone to get a police report at Ibadan to allow for an unimpeded journey, but that as he could not wait for the processes to be completed, the divisional police officer (DPO) gave him his phone number.



According to Daily Post ,the journey man said when he first embarked on the journey, many persons discouraged him, especially family members but he never gave up.

Hackers Attack ATMs In Lagos, Collect Pins & ATM Card Data

TMs located in highbrow areas in Lagos state particularly in Victoria Island and Lekki, might have been compromised following reports of hackers planting fraud devices on some machines so as to get the pin codes and other details of the ATM cards of unsuspecting users and use them to carry out fraudulent activities.

A banker who spoke with Punch said "A number of the ATMs in Victoria Island and Lekki axis have been compromised by hackers. Some of these fraudsters visit those ATMs very late in the night or very early in the morning to fix some fraud devices on them, which are capable of collecting cardholders’ information, including their passwords. They come back later to remove those devices.

{NAWA OO} Lagos bar where male sex workers hustle for clients

The time was 7pm, penultimate Saturday. The venue was a hotel on Abaranje Road in Ikotun, a suburb in Lagos State. He adorned black denims on a black T-shirt. He said his name was Kenny, of course, he admitted it wasn’t his real name.



He sauntered into the hotel as if his main aim was to have a couple of drinks and maybe complement it with a plate of sizzling pepper soup.

Jonathan to visit Lagos again as APC slams President

Less than a week after departing Lagos State, President Goodluck Jonathan will visit the state again on Sunday to meet with about 5,000 youths in a programme titled, ‘Meet the President.’

 
A former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, announced this on his Facebook page.
He wrote, “Nigeria’s most youth-friendly President ever, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, will be meeting with Nigerian youths in Lagos this weekend. Power to the youths!”

Some hoodlums have attacked a man, Mr. Disu Omobolaji, in the Ipaja Ayobo area of Lagos State for pasting campaign posters by the roadside.



PUNCH Metro learnt that Omobolaji, who worked as a photographer, was attacked along with two other persons while they were pasting the campaign posters around the Post Office bus stop on Ipaja Ayobo Road.

Lagos Cultists storm family house, beat them with horsewhips

It was reign of terror, yesterday, as suspected secret cult members held a family hostage for about an hour, while workers were going to work in the early hours of the day.
