{SAD STORY} Corpse on rail track at Fagba crossing this morning

A young man was found dead at the rail track at Fagba area of Iju Lagos this morning. People assume he fell off the moving train last night.

 
His body is still there and they are asking the right authority to come remove his corpse. They also believe his family lives around Ijoko in Ogun state and do not even know what has befallen their family member.

{SAD STORY} 19-year-old boy stabs friend to death over plasma TV

A teenager has stabbed his friend to death when he wanted to steal a plasma TV. 19-year-old Salaudeen Rilwan, is currently languishing in the police cell with a murder rap on his neck after he was arrested for stabbing his close friend, Kareem Suraju, to death after a scuffle over a plasma TV belonging to Suraju's friend which Rilwan wanted to steal.

According to Tribune Newspaper, Rilwan who is being held at the Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Iyaganku, Ibadan in the Oyo State Police Command, is now full of regrets and is begging for another chance to make good his life.

{SAD STORY} Man Beheads Wife, Daughter And Commits Suicide In Ogun

A 46-year-old farmer, Olubusayo Sunday, beheaded his wife and daughter, before taking his own life Wednesday in Onigbedu town in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, police said.

While confirming the incident on Thursday, the Ogun State Police Command said the incident has been traced to a dispute between the man and his late wife. The Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said investigations are ongoing.

{SAD STORY} Police find man’s head in Ebute Meta, body in Surulere

The Police in Lagos State have recovered the mutilated remains of a man, identified only as Christmas, which were dumped at two different areas of the state.



Punch Metro learnt that the victim’s head was found at Olokodana junction in the Ebute Meta area, while his body was recovered in Alaka, Surulere, on Wednesday.

{SAD STORY} Chilling 911 call by 19-year old after grooming & killing 14-yr old boy

A murderous teenager made a chilling 999 call to  emergency services after slitting the throat of a 14-year-old  he had groomed online, telling operators: 'Send police and forensics'.


Lewis Daynes, described as a 'dangerous and manipulative' criminal, was jailed for life today for the murder of Breck Bednar last February.

{SAD STORY} 4 killed as 7yr old girl walks away from plane crash in Kentucky

Kentucky State Police posted on their Facebook page...

The Kentucky State Police are responding to a report of a plane crash near the area of KY 810 South in the Suwanee community of Lyon County At approximately 6:30 pm CST, a 911 call was received from a Lyon County resident. The caller told police that a 7-year-old female had walked to his home reporting that she had been involved in a plane crash. The juvenile was in distress and was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

{SAD STORY} Sister - ''How Policemen Killed And Buried My Brother, Offered Family N10m''

Some policemen attached to Maroko police station, Lagos State, have been accused of kill­ing a 24-year old man, Aondona Tavershima and buried him in a shallow grave at Lekki beach.



Five of the suspected policemen are now cur­rently in police detention. The victim, a motorcy­cle operator, was alleged to have refused to stop when he was accosted by the policemen who were said to be on patrol at about 11am on the fateful day.

{SAD STORY} 31 dead as Twin Bomb Explosions Rock Jos

According to AFP, government officials have confirmed 31 dead as a bomb blast rocked Jos central market this evening.The bombing reportedly took place around Mr Biggs roundabout on Ahmadu Bello Way.. 
 
 
A double bombing Thursday in the central Nigeria city of Jos killed at least 31 people near the site where a similar attack in May killed 118 people, the state government told AFP.

{SAD STORY} Four die as thugs clash during APC primaries

Like a war scene, continuous gun report tore through the air in the Ebute Meta area of Lagos State on yesterday afternoon.

As residents ran helter-skelter in the ensuing confusion, four youths were shot dead, while several others were wounded, as 20 vehicles were also vandalised on four streets, namely Kano, Ondo, Odunfa and Ibadan.

11 passengers, including a mother and her two female children,died in Abak local government area of Akwa Ibom State when a bus conveying passengers from Port Harcourt to Uyo, plunged in river near the Nigerian Army Barracks, Ibagwa.

All, except two of the occupants drowned.It was gathered that the Toyota Hiace bus belonging to To & Fro Transport Company was hit by a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) making it to plunged into the river.

{SAD STORY} 12 Year Old Boy With Toy Gun Fatally Shot By Cleveland Police

A 12-year-old boy with a replica gun was shot and killed by Cleveland police over the weekend.

Police authorities had received a report about a 911 call in which someone reported that a juvenile was scaring people with a gun that was “probably fake,” USA Today reports.



Officers arrived at the scene on Saturday and the boy, Tamir Rice, pulled the fake weapon. According to reports, he did not point the gun at the police or make any verbal threats. One of the policemen shot him twice in the torso. He died on Sunday at MetroHealth Medical Center.

{SAD STORY} 24-yr old man commits suicide in church

A 24-year-old man, Lanre Falodu, has reportedly committed suicide in a church premises in Owo area of Ondo State, where he was taken for deliverance.

The deceased brother, Tunde, according to a police source, took him to the church located at Imola area of Owo to seek spiritual solution to his problem.

{SAD STORY} Maria Jose Alvarado, Miss Honduras & Her Sister Sofia Found Dead

Miss Honduras, Maria Jose Alvarado, 19, who is supposed to represent her country at this year’s Miss World in London but went missing after attending a party last Thursday with her sister, Sofia Trinidad, 23, have both been found dead.

Details of their death are still very sketchy, but local policemen broke the news today. Too sad

{SAD STORY} FCE Kano Bomb Blast Leaves 13 Dead, 34 Injured

At least 13 people were killed and 34 others wounded police fought a battle with suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers in Kano, northern Nigeria, the state's police chief said on Wednesday.



Kano State police commissioner Adelere Shinaba said the gunmen, whom he described as "insurgents", ran onto the grounds of the Federal College of Education after exchanging fire with police outside. He told AFP:
