Davido Remember His Mom - It’s The 12th Year Remembrance To RIP

Yesterday, Friday, March 6, 2015 marks the 12th remembrance service in honour of the late mum of Nigerian music star and HKN boss star, Davido.

 


The award winning pop star took to social media to remember his mum, the late Veronica Adeleke who died when he was just 11 years old. Davido, who is currently in the United States where he’s preparing for his African tour, shared a photo of his late darling mother on Instagram to mark the 12th year anniversary of her demise.

Davido Signs Multi-Million Naira Endorsement Deal With Forte Oil

Nigeria music star Davido was spotted with Nigerian businessman and CEO of Forte Oil, Femi Otedola recently but now we can confirm that the HKN Music front-man has inked a lucrative deal with the Forte Oil worth between 80 and 100 million Naira.


 
  Davido is the second celebrity and artiste to be signed by the company following Tiwa Savage in 2014. Davido who recently released a new single titled “The Sound” with a music video posted a photo on Instagram last week with Femi Otedola and captioned it “F.O x O.B.O 2015″.

Nigeria’s BET award winning pop star, Davido has had a blast of a year so far with outstanding success. And to reward members of his team who have been hugely instrumental to helping him conquer the Nigerian music scene as well as the African landscape in 2014, the singer has unveiled hugely surprising gifts as part of his 22nd birthday give-aways.

 NET exclusively gathered that Davido splashed over N30m on brand new cars for both his manager, Kamal Ajiboye and his producer, Sheyi Akerele who is better known as Shizzi. For his manager, Davido bought a brand new black Mercedes 450 GL valued at N12m while for his producer, Davido got a brand new black Porsch Cayenne valued at N24m.

It doesn’t look like the Davido vs Wizkid feud is ending anytime soon! The Culture Custodians caught up with the 21 year old pop star in Lagos for an in depth interview about everything Davido & one of the major topics of discussion was Wizkid & their rivalry.


During the interview Davido couldn’t help but take some subliminal jabs at Wizkid a certain music industry colleague, when he was asked for a release date for his album, Davido replied, “Me I no dey change date” , one can see that statement as a reference to the perpetual changes in the release date of Wizkid’s second studio album, something Bank W recently addressed.
