{REVEALED} 5 Crucial Questions Obasanjo Asked GEJ In Abeokuta Meeting

The re conciliatory visit of President Goodluck Jonathan was a tensed one as former president, Olusegun Obasanjo put him on the hot seat in his Hilltop residence in Abeokuta on Monday, according to Leadership Newspapers.



Flanked by the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and the founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, who were there as witnesses to the meeting on request of the Egba chief, asked him questions which he had earlier thrown up in his correspondence to Jonathan.

{HMM} Jonathan Responds To Obasanjo saying ''I am The Best Leader Nigeria Has Ever Produced''

President Goodluck Jonathan has described himself as the best leader to be produced by Nigeria. The President said no leader since the country gained independence in 1960 had done better than himself for the country.

 

He, therefore, said the comment made by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, in which the ex-President described Jonathan’s performance as below average, was untrue.

Academic and administrative activities at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) literally stood still on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, for former President Olusegun Obasanjo. That was the day OBJ, as he is fondly called, came to Lagos, all the way from Abeokuta, Ogun State, to pick up his admission letter to study for a postgraduate degree in Christian Theology. The visit was his second to the institution in the past seven years.

The busy NOUN headquarters on Victoria lsland, Lagos, was almost deserted, as students and visitors were barred from entering the compound because of the august visitor. NOUN security personnel screened people at the gate before allowing them in while DSS operatives and policemen were on ground to provide security to the former number one citizen of the country.

{SAD STORY} Remi Oyo, Obasanjo Ex-Media Aide is Dead

The former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Oluremi Oyo, is dead. She died yesterday afternoon at a London hospital at the age of 62.

Mr. Dele Bodunde, NAN Deputy Editor-in-Chief confirmed Oyo’s death Thursday morning. “It is true, Aunty ti lo (meaning Aunty is gone in Yoruba),” he said in a phone chat. “She died Wednesday at about 1:30pm at a London hospital.” “Its a great loss not just to all of us at NAN, but the Nigerian media at large. This is a sad moment.” Official statement on the news of her dead is expected later today.
