Arsenal have last night completed the signing of English Striker Danny Welbeck from English rivals Manchester United.
The 23 year old had made 90 appearances, scoring 20 goals. Since making his senior debut in 2008, Welbeck has also won 25 England caps.
Welbeck plays as a forward or at the wing position and came through the youth camps of Manchester United and had successful loan spells at Preston North End and Sunderland.
The transfer was kept on as late as they two clubs could, because Manchester United was clearing out the necessary work papers to sign Radamel Falcao.
Arsenal announced the news 2 hours after the transfer window was shut, he is rumoured to have been signed for 16 million Pounds, the same price Liverpool got Balotelli.
He made his England Derby in March 2011 and was in the England squads for both Euro 2012 and the 2014 World Cup.
Welbeck has gone to international duty with the England national team and will join Arsenal in later ahead of their Saturday, September 13, Manchester City game.
