{$9.3m Scandal} Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor says ''My Hands Are Clean''

The president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, yesterday broke the silence about the controversial $9.3m smuggled into South Africa by two Nigerians and an Israeli, using his private jet, saying his hands are clean.



Oritsejafor broke his silence during the National Executive Council meeting of CAN at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, saying he waited for today to brief the leaders of the church and explain his position on the issue, because he believes the primary institution he owes an explanation to is the church. The Managing Director of the company, Babatunde Disu, stated that the inclusion of women in the training program constituted a part of the state’s efforts to provide equal employment opportunities for females  in Lagos.

{BREAKING NEWS} Olabisi Onabanjo University Re-opened

The management of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, Ogun State, Sunday ordered the reopening of the school. The school was shut in August based on the orders of Governor Ibikunle Amosun after students demanded a further reduction in their school fees.



Head, Corporate Affairs Division, Vice-Chancellor’s Office of the University, Niyi Oduwole, said the reopening was based on the approval of the university’s governing council.

Building collapse: Lagos state govt may prosecute T.B Joshua {SEE GOBE}

It looks like Synagogue leader T.B Joshua will be prosecuted by the Lagos State Government over the collapse of his building on September 12th that left more than 115 people dead.

According to Punch, the state government has set up a coroner of inquest for the purpose of investigating the cause of the building collapse. This was made known in a statement credited to the Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Ade Ipaye, on Sunday.

The leadership of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria has accused the President of Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, of smearing the image of the body, saying it was wrong for his private plane to be associated with the controversial arms deal in South Africa.

 The Bishops said military aircrafts could have been conveniently used for that purpose.
