Man tries to bomb lecture hall in OAU

Tragedy was averted at the Obafemi Awolowo University in Osun when a man was caught trying to set off a bomb.

 

This suspected bomber was caught in a hostel and not in a lecture hall as erroneously stated in the headline.

Reports filtering in via social media have it that a man has been caught with an explosive device on the premises of the Obafemi Awolowo University.

The culprit, identified as Rasaki Adedayo, was said to have been trying to blow up the hostel building named Awo hall.

Adedayo was apprehended by the students who said he had in his possession a substance that seemed to be petrol mixed with another chemical.

The suspect has been handed over to the police who have begun investigation into the incident.
