The American tourist who was mauled to death by a lion on a South African safari has been named as 29-year-old Katherine Chappell, a film editor who worked on Game of Thrones, Marvel's Captain America and the Divergence series.



The wildlife conservationist was in South Africa raising money for a charitable organization that protects animals from poachers.

South Africa football captain Senzo Meyiwa was  shot dead in Johannesburg only hours after playing a match. According to a statement by police ,the 27 year old , who played for Orlando Pirates, was shot dead when intruders entered his girlfriend's(Who he's pictured with above hours before) house in Vosloorus, a town 20 miles south of Johannesburg.



According to the South African Police Service""there were 7 people inside the house. Two suspects went into the house, one remained outside. The 3 fled on foot after the shooting.”
