{EBOLA} Lawmakers To Re-examine Schools' Resumption Date
If latest news are to be believed, then academic activities
may not resume in both private and public schools in Nigeria in the
month of September.
This is based upon reports that the House of Representatives has
asked its Committee on Education to take another look at the resumption
date announced for private and public schools in the country.

{EBOLA} Primary And Secondary Schools' Resumption Postponed Till October 13
The Federal Government of Nigeria announced that all primary and
secondary schools in the country will resume on October 13th, 2014 in a
precautionary measure to ensure that the Ebola outbreak has been
contained by time children resume school.

The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Shekarau announced the new resumption date after a marathon meeting with all the 36 state Commissioners of Education in Abuja on Tuesday evening.
