President Jonathan Finally Visit Boko Haram Headquarters In Maiduguri

President Goodluck Jonathan arrived in Maidugiri, the Borno State capital. His plane landed at about 3.45pm, the purpose of the visit can not be ascertain yet but aso rock insider hint that it is to campaign for a re-election and not to sympatize with the people of the state.

 

Maiduguri has been a hotbed of violence with the Boko Haram Islamic militants carrying out deadly attacks which has claimed the lives of thousand of people.

Accompanying the president is the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Vice Marshall Alex Badeh and the National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki. Both were said to have arrived the airport in a separate aircraft.

Reports say the state governor, Kashim Shettima is at the airport to receive the president.
