The Oscar award winner will play the
role of a social worker that cares for the main character’s daughter in a new
film. Her profession will eventually lead her to become involved in the life of
the fallen boxer. ‘Southpaw’ is about a welterweight boxer who has experienced
a downfall in his professional boxing career.
The film will centre on the character’s
struggles to improve his career as he battles with substance abuse. Rapper
Eminem, Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker, Rachel McAdams and others are part of
the cast of ‘Southpaw’. According to Fashion times, the director of the
upcoming project is yet to announce a possible release date for the movie.
Reports also have it that the ‘12 Years a Slave’ actress will feature in two
other movies ‘A Most Wanted Man’ and ’Taken’....
