President Jonathan seeks to borrow $1 billion to fight Boko Haram.
President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday requested permission from the
National Assembly to borrow $1 billion to help equip the armed forces in
its fight against the Islamist-insurgent group Boko Haram.
