11 passengers, including a mother and her two female children,died in Abak local government area of Akwa Ibom State when a bus conveying passengers from Port Harcourt to Uyo, plunged in river near the Nigerian Army Barracks, Ibagwa.

 

All, except two of the occupants drowned.It was gathered that the Toyota Hiace bus belonging to To & Fro Transport Company was hit by a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) making it to plunged into the river.

A 35 year old robbery suspect got stuck in a hole as he tried to escape his cell from his cell in Oyo.The inmate, Femi Akanji was caught after burgling a shop on the 12th of November 2014..He narrated to the Tribune why he decided to escape.

 

I decided to escape from the cell to avoid the trouble I had put myself into, unknown to me that I was complicating matter. After my two cell mates had slept, I started using my hands to dig the wall silently in the dead of the night. I started from a point where I noticed a crack in the cell.

According to Encomium, he revealed that out of his alleged five children: Made, Afolabi, Dupe, Tosin and Ayomide, two of them, Dupe and Tosin (a boy and a girl) have been discovered not to be his biological children, according to a recent DNA test.

{SAD STORY} 12 Year Old Boy With Toy Gun Fatally Shot By Cleveland Police

A 12-year-old boy with a replica gun was shot and killed by Cleveland police over the weekend.

Police authorities had received a report about a 911 call in which someone reported that a juvenile was scaring people with a gun that was “probably fake,” USA Today reports.



Officers arrived at the scene on Saturday and the boy, Tamir Rice, pulled the fake weapon. According to reports, he did not point the gun at the police or make any verbal threats. One of the policemen shot him twice in the torso. He died on Sunday at MetroHealth Medical Center.
